240 - An Aconcagua Odyssey

Thus begins the journal of the days leading to my potential expedition to Aconcagua.  As of today there are 240 days until the expedition, if formed, will leave for its adventure on 26 December 2008.  I am not officially accepted yet but will have an interview with the trip leaders later today.  I know one of them, Pat Rastall, somewhat well as I took an outdoor leadership class presented by him.  I think things will go well, but there is a lot of unknown territory awaiting me.  I am as excited as a young child is the night before Christmas, a long 240 hours worth of night.
